The Engadine Gander House, listed and protected as a historic monument – lodges up to 6 persons – at Stuls/Stugl above Bergün.

If you are looking for nature, peace and seclusion, you will find it in the hamlet of Stuls (Stugl is its Romansch name) at 1,551 m / 5,088 ft above sea level, with an unobstructed view of the Albula Valley, right in the middle of Parc Ela, Switzerland’s largest nature reserve.

If you are looking for something special, away from the ordinary, you will find it here at this Engadine farmhouse. The house was built in 1691, and is suitably and stylishly furnished with original Swiss stone pine furniture.
The house offers an ideal opportunity for relaxing and peaceful holidays. The post bus brings you from nearby Bergün (where there are shopping facilities) directly to the house.

Stuls is an ideal hiking area: the well-marked hikes start right in front of the house and include walks to Latsch or to the legendary Stuls station of the Rhaetian Railway (RhB), which was added to the UNESCO World Heritage List just last year. More demanding alpine hikes will take you over the Ducanfurgga into Sertig and nearby Davos, or through the wild and romantic Val Tuors to Piz Kesch.
Take the RhB local train to Preda and then continue on foot to the fairytale Lake Palpuogna.
At the nearby Alvaneu Spa you can relax, play golf, and recharge your batteries at the thermal spa.
In winter, you can toboggan down to the valley on the world-famous Preda–Bergün toboggan run or lay your tracks in the virgin snow of the Darlux ski area.
We wish you unforgettable days at the Gander House.
